Dhooan Dahi Gosht is a thick creamy meat curry serve with rice and green salad.


Ingredients
mutton 1/2 kg
onionClick to find more about onion 8 oz
yogurt 1 1/2 cups
gingerClick to find more about ginger paste 2 tsp heaped
garlicClick to find more about garlic paste 2 tsp heaped
green cardamoms few whole

mintClick to find more about mint leaves 1/2 bunch finely chopped.
green chillies 6
red chillies 2 tsp
saltClick to find more about salt to taste
corriander powder 2 tsp
oil 1/2 cup
A piece of coal


Preparation
Blend 4 oz onoin with a little water.
Add gingerClick to find more about ginger garlicClick to find more about garlic paste alongwith saltClick to find more about salt, chilli powder and corriander powder blend well.
Mix the blended ingredients with mutton.
Now add water about 4 to 6 cups and cook until the meat is tender and water dries up.
Now add oil and fry the meat till it leaves oil on the sides.
Beat yogurt with saltClick to find more about salt.
Cut the rest of the onionClick to find more about onion, green chillies and mintClick to find more about mint leaves finely chopped.
Prepare a heat proof dish and lay alayer of meat then of yogurt and top with the green masala repeat the process till the ingredints are used.
Put a piece of onionClick to find more about onion skin in the middle of the dish and the put the litted coal on it.
Drop a little bit of oil on litted coal and cover the dish immidiately.
Put the dish in the oven and cook for 1/2 hour.
Serve with naan or rotti
