Matka Gosht is a traditional Pakistani curry in which meat is simmerd with flavorsome spices.


Ingredients
1 Kg. Beef
3 medium Onions finely sliced
1 Tbsp
GingerClick to find more about Ginger I bulb of GarlicClick to find more about Garlic 1/4 cup
Water 1 cup
Habib Cooking Oil or GheeClick to find more about Ghee 1 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder 1/2 tsp
TurmericClick to find more about Turmeric Powder 1 1/2 tsp
White ZeeraClick to find more about Zeera (grounded) 1 tbsp
Coriander Powder 10 pieces
Black PepperClick to find more about Black Pepper (whole) 1 tsp
Garam Masala 1tsp
Black ZeeraClick to find more about Zeera A small knob of kneaded flour (AttaClick to find more about Atta) SaltClick to find more about Salt to taste


Preparation
Wash and pat dry the beef.
In a large Matka add beef, garlicClick to find more about garlic, gingerClick to find more about ginger in Habib Oil or GheeClick to find more about Ghee.
Then add the remaining spices with onions and water.
Keep the matka on low fire and let it cook until the water has dried.
Then stirfry till brown. Once more add water and let it simmer on low heat. Now take the knob of kneaded flour (attaClick to find more about atta) and keep it an a small bowl of water.
Mix it gently so that it dissolves in the water.
Add this dissolved AttaClick to find more about Atta (flour) in the matka, stirring as u pour it in.
Bring to boil.
Now sprinkle the grounded zeeraClick to find more about zeera and garam masala and let it simmer for another 15 minutes.
