Shallow fried vegetable cutlet is placed in the burger buns along with cucumber, tomato slices and then enjoyed hot with mustard sauce and ketchup.

Ingredients
For the vegetable cutlets:

4 teacups mixed boiled vegetables(like carrots,peas,beans,corns,capsicums and whtever u like)
3 boiled and mashed potatoes
2 slices bread
2 teaspoons chilli-gingerClick to find more about ginger paste
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon garam masala
saltClick to find more about salt to taste
bread crumbs
oil

For the salad:

3 teacups shredded cabbageClick to find more about cabbage
2 grated carrots
200 grams (7 oz.) fresh cream
3 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon mustard powder
1 1/2 teaspoons saltClick to find more about salt
3 tablespoons olive oil or italian salad dressing

For the burgers:

10 to 12 buns

For the filling:

cucumber slices
tomatoClick to find more about tomato slices
lettuce leaves
tomatoClick to find more about tomato ketchup
mustard sauce


Preparation
For the vegetable cutlets:

1. Dip the bread slices in water for a few seconds. Squeeze out the water.
2. Mix the vegetables, potatoes, bread, paste, lemon juice, garam masala and saltClick to find more about salt and shape into small flattened rounds.
3. Sprinkle bread crumbs all over.
4. Cook on a tawa (griddle) with oil.

For the salad:

1. Beat the cream with the sugar.
2. Add the remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Chill.

How to serve:

1. Cut each bun horizontally into two.
2. Spread a little tomatoClick to find more about tomato ketchup and mustard sauce on the lower half.
3. Place a lettuce leaf and vegetable cutlet on top.
4. Spread a little salad and put a few cucumber slices and one tomatoClick to find more about tomato slice on top.
5. Cover with the upper half of the bun.
6. Heat below the grill for a few minutes.
7. Repeat with the remaining buns, cutlets, salad and filling.
