German Pancakes are super easy to make and tasty for breakfasts. Tastes great with buttermilk syrup.


Ingredients
6 eggs
1 cup milk
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon saltClick to find more about salt
2 tablespoons butter, melted

BUTTERMILKClick to find more about BUTTERMILK SYRUP:
1-1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup buttermilkClick to find more about buttermilk
1/2 cup butter
2 tablespoons cornClick to find more about corn syrup
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons Spice Islands®, All Natural, No CornClick to find more about Corn Syrup Added, Pure Vanilla Extract

Preparation
In a blender, combine the eggs, milk, flour and saltClick to find more about salt; cover and process until smooth.
Pour the butter into an ungreased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish; add the batter. Bake, uncovered, at 400┬░ for 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine the first five syrup ingredients; bring to a boil. Boil for 7 minutes. Remove from the heat; stir in vanilla. Dust pancake with sugar; serve immediately with the syrup.

This is a finish recipe, not German... KROP SU is the real name. I've made this every Christmas morning for the last 31 years!

It actually took me less than a half hour to make this and it came out really well. However, I did have to bake it for a bit longer than directed to get any sort of browning on the center. Other than that, it was wonderful with just the right consistency. I recommend giving this recipe a try. ^.^
